Septentrio, a provider of high-precision GNSS positioning technology, has joined forces with GNSS OEM Store, which offers user-friendly centimetre-level GNSS modules, antennas, and development kits for both professionals and hobbyists. As part of this collaboration, GNSS Store has developed a range of new products, including evaluation boards, dongles, compact smart antennas, and other plug-and-play systems. These are built around the mosaic GNSS module, which includes the mosaic-X5 positioning module, the mosaic-H heading module, and the mosaic-T timing module.
The mosaic module is a compact GNSS receiver that delivers precise tri-band positioning with remarkable reliability, thanks to its built-in technology that makes it highly resistant to signal interference, such as jamming and spoofing. The newly developed products based on the mosaic module feature additional connectors and interfaces, making it easy to evaluate and utilise the receiver’s capabilities.
These new offerings from GNSS Store enable sub-centimetre level accuracy, thanks to their multi-band, multi-constellation design and high-precision real-time kinematic (RTK) technology. They are ideally suited for use in demanding applications such as precision agriculture, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and robotics. Moreover, the products are designed for plug-and-play compatibility with open-source RTK networks.
“This collaboration strengthens our commitment to making our robust and resilient positioning technology accessible to everyone. The versatile new products designed by GNSS Store add to the rapidly growing ecosystem around the mosaic GNSS module,” said Gustavo Lopez, Market Portfolio Manager at Septentrio.
The new mosaic-based boards and dongles are now available for purchase on the GNSS Store website, with more products expected soon. Septentrio’s GNSS experts will also be available at ROSCon 2024, taking place from 21-23 October in Odense, Denmark.
