Queclink has introduced its latest innovation, the GV500CNA. Building on the success of the GV500CG in the Latin American market, the GV500CNA is a compact and cost-effective OBD tracker designed to cater to the specific needs of businesses in North America. At just a third of the size of previous Queclink OBD products, this new device offers a discreet, durable design without compromising on performance.
Equipped with a 4G LTE Cat 1 bis module, the GV500CNA provides faster, more reliable network connectivity across North America, making it particularly suited for usage-based insurance (UBI), vehicle leasing, and fleet management applications.
The GV500CNA is easy to install, featuring a plug-and-play design that draws power directly from the vehicle’s battery via the OBD port, eliminating the need for manual charging. Additionally, it includes a built-in backup battery that activates in the event of disconnection, providing instant tamper alerts.
With support for BLE 5.1, the GV500CNA can communicate with other BLE-enabled devices, such as wireless relays, facilitating advanced features like remote vehicle immobilisation to prevent unauthorised use.
Designed for a range of applications, the GV500CNA is particularly effective in vehicle leasing and car-sharing scenarios, offering real-time tracking, usage monitoring, and driving behaviour analysis. These capabilities help businesses optimise fleet management and enhance security, with its compact form factor also improving anti-theft measures.
For insurers, the GV500CNA offers precise data for UBI programmes, enabling the creation of personalised insurance policies based on actual driving behaviour. This enhances customer satisfaction, helps insurers assess risk more accurately, and streamlines claims processing.
The GV500CNA is also ideal for family vehicle monitoring, allowing parents to track and review driving behaviour and vehicle usage, ensuring the safety of younger drivers and providing detailed reports on vehicle activity.
“The GV500CNA is a game-changer, making IoT technology more reliable and affordable for our customers as Queclink expands its presence in North America,” said Manny Hernandez, VP of North America at Queclink. “This cutting-edge device is tailored to meet the dynamic needs of fleet managers, insurers, and consumers alike by offering innovative, future-proof solutions that keep pace with the rapidly evolving market.”
