At the upcoming LogiMAT 2024 event (Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre, 19-21th March 2024), Advantech is set to showcase its latest advancements in products and solutions tailored for the logistics sector.
The focus will be on demonstrating how the company’s Industrial IoT solutions, which incorporate artificial intelligence, can enhance speed, safety, and automation within the industry.
Situated at the European Machine Vision Association booth (Hall 2 Booth 2C18), Advantech’s IIoT team is eager to connect with longstanding clients, potential new customers, and partners within the logistics domain. The team will underscore the pivotal role AI plays in driving efficiency, optimisation, and reliability across the logistics sector, showcasing an array of products designed to leverage AI technology to its fullest potential.
One of the highlights includes the Advantech IIoT’s AI Jetson platforms, specifically designed for Edge AI applications. These compact, industrial-grade solutions boast high GPU performance powered by NVIDIA Jetson boards. With Advantech’s three decades of industrial PC design experience, these platforms provide optimal performance per watt for embedded NVIDIA Jetson devices. This equips AI application developers with potent tools to devise bespoke AI solutions for logistics, automation, and manufacturing.
Machine vision technology, a growing trend in logistics, will also be prominently featured. Advantech IIoT will present its array of machine vision solutions, including modular IPCs perfect for a variety of applications like vision inspection, automated optical inspection (AOI), packaging inspection, process automation, and intelligent monitoring.
Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to explore Advantech IIoT’s Edge AI Inference Computers, which are embedded with NVIDIA Jetson and optimised for video analytics across logistics, transportation, manufacturing, and safety and security sectors. The booth will also display Advantech IIoT’s AI cameras that include NVIDIA Jetson modules, capable of processing images and videos directly within the camera for advanced applications such as AI inspection.
Advantech IIoT is also set to highlight BitFlow’s 6th generation camera link frame grabbers for machine vision, featuring advanced interfaces, power over camera link (PoCL), new connectors, and tap formats. These frame grabbers offer an efficient and cost-effective method for transferring camera data to computers. Moreover, Advantech’s range of USB/LAN frame grabbers meets the diverse needs of AOI systems.
