With pre-registration now open for prospective visitors of this year’s show, we offer you some highlights from last year’s success. We have collated comments from the wonderful exhibitors of December 2021 and bring to you the top three reasons to attend this year!
Startups
Whether you’re in the early stages of starting up your business, or you’re an established company that can offer advice or services to a startup, Hardware Pioneers Max is the ultimate startup base!
Filled with visionaries and bustling with bright ideas, the space drives a healthy competition of ideas, thereby ensuring diverse thoughts and opinions.
Laiier, a smart sensor startup, was amongst many exhibitors at the show. Their technical product manager, Pascal Loose, said: “We ourselves are a hardware startup so the more hardware companies you know, the better! We came here today for networking and already have some great leads.”
Alternatively, Jason Brand, Regional Sales Manager for Texas Instruments talked to us from the perspective of his organisation, a widely-recognised tech giant: “What I like about Hardware Pioneers Max is the diversity of the customers we see here – in just a few hours we’ve talked to real startups who haven’t even got funding yet, all the way through to companies starting to see success – and we can help them transition into full volume.”
Networking
Host to likeminded innovators, and building upon the success of over 150 events, Hardware Pioneers is renowned for its community. United in their mission to foster a smarter world, attendees and exhibitors are paving the way in this new digital era.
“Hardware Pioneers is a community we like to be a part of because of the great environment that it is. Everyone is here for the same purpose: we are passionate about hardware and passionate about what we’re doing” Said Edson Silva, Technical Consultant at Plextek.
Dubbed the “central customer point” by one happy attendee, Hardware Pioneers Max is a hub of innovation and “really intelligent people”.
After years of hit-and-miss opportunities, made hectic by the global pandemic, everyone rejoiced in the ability to catch-up in the flesh. “It’s been a great chance to actually have a conversation rather than just a website.”
Bransley Nyamande, Junior Development Engineer for DSL said: “Hardware Pioneers allows us to actually meet face to face with a lot of our clientele or potential clientele. It allows us to expand our horizons easily.”
Solutions
The opportunity to share knowledge and expertise has never been more accessible. All Hardware Pioneers Max exhibitors are connected by the common goal of finding meaningful solutions to modern problems in an ever-evolving technological world.
Collaboration and cooperation lie at the heart of innovation. With each individual comes niche insight, spanning a range of domains such as automotive ad industrial developments, to name a few.
Raspberry Pi’s Roger Thornton, Direct of Applications, noted that the event gave his company “the chance to educate [people] about the work we’ve been doing, and to hear what they’ve been doing”.
Co-founder of Canairy, Angus Thomson, said: “I’ve already chatted to three or four companies who would find a direct use for what we’re developing, and other partner companies who can provide other parts of the puzzle. It’s full of people that are just very directly relevant to exactly what we’re doing at the moment.”
Whether you’re looking for the latest new products to manage your devices, or seeking advice from tech veterans, you’re sure to find it at Hardware Pioneers Max.
David Bellisario, CEO, and Fabiano Bellisario, Director of Hardware Pioneers, offer their optimism for the coming year: “We look forward to the next show which takes place on 25th October 2022 in London. Let’s continue our journey in helping the whole industry to grow and thrive.”
