IMOU has announced its newest addition to its range, the Bullet 3 smart camera. Perfect for remote home monitoring, the Bullet 3 is available in 2K and 3K resolutions, catering to various budget and preference needs. Both options are rich in features, offering night vision, AI technology, and are equipped with a siren and two-way communication capabilities.
Providing two different camera pixel options (2K and 3K), both options of the Bullet 3 provide high-quality and clear images. The 2K version of the Bullet 3 delivers 3MP live monitoring with a choice of 2.8mm/3.6mm lens options, while the 3K delivers 5MP live monitoring with the same lens options. Ensuring that the house is protected at all times of day and night, the camera features various smart night vision modes that can be adjusted according to the user’s needs. Whether wanting the night vision to be in full colour at all times thanks to the built-in spotlights, to turn on only when there is an event to save energy or using the infrared mode, images and clips will always be captured with real clarity.
The following modes are included:
- Smart Mode: The camera will automatically turn into colour mode from infrared mode when suspicious motion is detected.
- Full-colour mode: Thanks to the built-in spotlights, the night vision is now turned up and in full colour.
- Infrared Mode: Advanced IR algorithm provides clear black-and-white pictures even in darkness.
- Off Mode: Turn off all night vision modes – infrared and spotlights are turned off.
In addition to night mode, the Bullet 3 also includes accurate AI Human and Vehicle Detection that is powered by the IMOU SENSE precision Al, which is a self-developed Al algorithm under the lMOU brand. Utilising this state-of-the-art technology enables the Bullet 3 to achieve up to a 50% increase in accuracy compared to rival products, delivering detection results to users in a mere 0.02 seconds. This allows the newly upgraded Al human and vehicle detection to effectively reduce false alarms caused by things such as insects and trees shaking. The effective detection range can reach 22 meters for people and 44 meters for cars, respectively ensuring that detection is truly accurate.
In the event of an unwelcome intruder being detected, the Bullet 3 features an integrated siren that activates to assist in deterring them. Designed to allow users to protect their home according to their own individual preferences, customisable detection zones can be set up to ensure that key areas of the house are covered. Furthermore, users have the option to customise the alarm sound and create schedules, making it simple to connect to the camera remotely from anywhere. The camera also features two-way talk options thanks to its built-in speaker, and a microphone with echo cancellation features to allow users to interact with visitors, family or pets from their phones.
The Bullet 3 supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard with higher data transfer rates and improved wall penetration, providing greater connectivity range compared to older generation cameras. It also supports PoE (Power Over Ethernet) connectivity, should users prefer to connect via cable instead. Also featuring an IP67 water-resistance rating, users have peace of mind that the device is protected from harsh weather such as rain or windblown dirt, keeping users safe at all times.
For storage of video clips, there are 3 options for users to choose from. Recorded videos can be stored in the cloud, with the data strictly encrypted through the whole process, so footage can be saved even if the camera is stolen or smashed. Users can also use an SD card or NVR to store videos, and the camera supports an SD card up to 256 GB, with up to 24 hours of continuous video recording and local saving available. Once the storage is full, the old recordings will be overwritten with new ones.
