Crypto Quantique, a quantum-driven security provider for IoT, has appointed ITEC of Tel Aviv, Israel to promote and support its IoT security products. ITEC will be responsible for the sale of Crypto Quantique’s QuarkLink software platform, which automates the creation and management of device identities, public key infrastructure (PKI), and digital certificates, as well as its quantum-derived physical unclonable function (PUF) IP, QDID.
QuarkLink streamlines IoT device development and management by automating security processes, thereby saving time, effort, and cost. It minimises human error during the provisioning, onboarding, scaling, and management of connected devices throughout their lifecycle. QuarkLink is compatible with devices running real-time operating systems (RTOS) or Linux, with ready-made libraries available on GitHub for popular MCU and MPU device families. ITEC will also assist customers in developing custom libraries for application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs).
QDID is a PUF IP that is compatible with standard CMOS manufacturing processes from 55 nm to 12 nm. It generates unique chip identities and cryptographic keys on demand, providing a quantum-secure foundation for the root-of-trust in IoT devices. These immutable identities and keys are not stored in memory and cannot be counterfeited, copied, or hacked.
“Partnering with ITEC leverages their expertise in silicon and software technologies across all sectors of the Israeli electronics industry. This collaboration allows us to provide timely, expert service and technical support for our customers in Israel so that they can achieve the highest level of IoT device security,” said Dr Shahram Mossayebi, Co-Founder and CEO of Crypto Quantique.
“Partnering with Crypto Quantique will greatly enhance our portfolio of top-of-the-line products to offer our many customers in silicon and software technologies across all sectors of the Israeli electronics industry. This collaboration allows us to provide timely, expert service and technical support for our customers in Israel so that they can achieve the highest level of IoT device security,” added Mauri Gottlieb, CEO of ITEC.
