aicas has expanded its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) by launching its Edge Device Portal (EDP) on the AWS Marketplace.
The aicas EDP is a Cloud platform designed to manage embedded devices and the software that runs on them. Using device fleets and software configurations, large-scale software deployments can be performed with a few clicks.
EDP offers no-code and flow programming capabilities, enabling users to trigger actions directly from the IDE and instantly deploy software for HIL testing. More recently, aicas demonstrated EDP’s capabilities by deploying software to the QNX real time operating system in the Cloud with one click.
“Our presence on the AWS Marketplace makes it easier for customers to find, test, and deploy our solutions,” said Dr. James J. Hunt, CEO and CTO of aicas. “We are excited to bring the flexibility and scalability of EDP to a broader audience, enabling them to manage their edge devices efficiently and easily.”
The key benefits of EDP are:
- Flexibility: manage and unify heterogeneous device fleets with flexible software deployment and comprehensive application lifecycle management, all through a unified platform
- Simplification and efficiency: EDP’s easy-to-use interface streamlines processes and minimises the need for deep programming skills
- Scalability: EDP is scalable to manage thousands of devices, providing robust management for large-scale operations
By leveraging the AWS Cloud infrastructure, EDP ensures secure and scalable device management, meeting the needs of industries such as industrial automation, smart mobility, and automotive. EDP has been evaluated and approved by AWS, qualifying it as certified software to run on AWS Cloud services, further ensuring reliability and scalability.
