Kicking off the first of our quarterly issues this year, this issue had a focus on industry predictions and artificial intelligence (AI), as experts were invited to share their predictions of the trends they expected will shape the IoT industry this year and in the years to come.
These predictions include quantum computing, which has the potential to break existing encryption algorithms and therefore needs to be considered closely as a cybersecurity priority; the rise of AI in IoT (AIoT); the monetisation of 5G networks; and more.
This issue also covers the future of fully homorphic encryption (FHE) as a quantum-resilient cryptography method, utilising sensors for wildfire detection, and how Edge AI is anticipated not only to grow in adoption, but to redefine our everyday lives, from wearables to health monitoring in real time.
You can read about these industry predictions and the prominence of AIoT in the latest issue of IoT Insider.
