Belden unveiled a series of new offerings tailored for the optimal functioning of mission-critical environments.
Enhanced data orchestration and management capabilities
Belden has enhanced its suite of products with significant updates aimed at improving data management and orchestration in industrial settings:
- The Belden Horizon Console has been updated to offer improved data collection and transfer controls, facilitating OT data transmission to cloud services for analysis and supporting connectivity across multiple remote networks via a single console connection. An on-premise deployment option is expected soon.
- The latest Hirschmann Industrial HiVision software, Version 8.4, introduces a Zero-Touch Device Replacement feature and enhances the usability of the MultiConfig feature with updated dialogs and parameters, aligning with the latest HiOS firmware.
- The Hirschmann BXP (BOBCAT eXtreme Performance) Managed Switches, an advancement within the BOBCAT series, provide a compact solution with enhanced flexibility, interoperability, and speeds up to 10 Gb/s to accommodate growing bandwidth demands.
- The Lumberg Automation LioN-X 16DIO IO-Link Hub LC is capable of delivering the current required for most industrial applications without needing an M12 L-coded cordset power connection.
Innovations in data acquisition and transmission
Belden’s latest data acquisition and transmission solutions are designed to ensure robust and efficient connectivity in various applications:
- The new Belden Indoor/Outdoor (I/O) Plenum (CMP) Stadium Cables are crafted for use in outdoor, below-grade conduit, aerial applications, and indoor air-handling spaces, providing versatility and resilience against water exposure.
- The Belden OSDP 658HMS Access Control Cables are designed to facilitate connections between OSDP readers and other door components to access control systems, with a CMP rating for optimal performance in plenum spaces.
- The introduction of Belden REVConnect Large Cores expands the REVConnect Connectivity System to accommodate insulated wire diameters between 1.3 mm and 1.45 mm using a unified termination method.
These launches underscore Belden’s commitment to delivering state-of-the-art solutions that enhance connectivity, speed, and power in environments where performance and reliability are critical.
