Energous, a provider of scalable, over-the-air (OTA) wireless power networks, has announced new collaborations with Anukin, Ecobyte, and Peak Technologies. These partnerships aim to accelerate the global adoption of Energous’ solutions.
Energous’ wireless power transmitters provide over-the-air power to IoT-enabled devices used for asset and inventory tracking and management, eliminating the need for batteries, wires, or cables.
With the growing interest in IoT applications for supply chain management, companies face the challenge of efficiently powering small devices essential for tracking crucial asset and inventory data such as location, temperature, and humidity. Energous’ wireless power transmitters offer a straightforward, maintainable solution that can charge multiple battery-free devices simultaneously, regardless of distance.
“Anukin, Ecobyte, and Peak Technologies joining the Energous partner ecosystem represents a significant step forward in our ability to provide global solutions that address the growing need for cost effective, reliable, and consistent power for internet-connected devices and IoT applications in supply chain, retail, and healthcare settings,” said Mallorie Burak, Interim Principal Executive Officer and CFO of Energous. “Joining forces with experienced partners accelerates access to the Energous solutions that provide the fundamental building block – wireless power – to customers looking to optimise and build the warehouses of tomorrow and energise a new generation of battery-free IoT-enabled devices, from retail sensors and asset trackers to air quality monitors, motion detectors, and more.”
Anukin, an IT services and consulting firm in Latin America specialising in IoT and smart spaces, recently completed a successful Proof of Concept with a Mexico-based retailer. This project utilised Energous technology to build an asset tracking and management system, enhancing asset tracking coverage by over 92%.
Ecobyte specialises in the tracking of reusable packaging assets in the retail, food, and manufacturing industries, providing IT systems for returnable packaging. As an Energous System Integration Partner, Ecobyte will offer comprehensive asset tracking solutions to improve supply chain visibility across Europe.
Peak Technologies, a provider of end-to-end technology solutions, modernises factories, optimises warehouses, and revolutionises retail experiences. The company offers consultancy on business processes, hardware, software, and complete solutions for equipment repair, lifecycle support, and technology services.
