Infineon Technologies has announced the launch of a comprehensive evaluation kit tailored for embedded, Edge AI, and Machine Learning (ML) system designs. The new PSoC 6 AI Evaluation Kit equips users with the necessary tools to develop intelligent consumer, smart home, and IoT applications.
By performing inferencing close to the sensor data source, the kit offers enhanced real-time performance and power efficiency compared to cloud-centric architectures. Its compact 35 mm x 45 mm form factor, cost-effectiveness, and wide range of integrated sensors and connectivity options make it ideal for in-field data collection, rapid prototyping, model evaluation, and solution development.
The PSoC 6 AI Evaluation Kit also capitalises on Infineon’s advanced microcontroller (MCU), sensor, and connectivity portfolios, along with powerful software development environments, including the Infineon ModusToolbox and Imagimob Studio, which supports custom ML models and off-the-shelf Ready Models.

The Evaluation Kit, based on the Infineon PSoC 6 MCU, supports development using Infineon’s extensive XENSIV product range for automotive, industrial, and consumer applications, as well as connectivity solutions including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE).
AI models and tools for a wide range of applications. Imagimob Studio enables developers to swiftly transition to production. The platform is free to use (charges apply only when new models are launched in products) and facilitates the creation of high-quality AI models from scratch or the optimisation of existing models. Imagimob Ready Models also provide AI models to companies lacking the time, cost, or expertise in machine learning to develop custom models.
