At embedded world in Nuremberg, Germany, from 11-13 March, Rutronik will be presenting artificial intelligence (AI) developments and the latest technologies in embedded systems. As part of the slogan ‘Embedded for AI’, the company will be showcasing AI-based solutions for industry. The distributor will also provide information about the latest base boards and adapter boards from Rutronik Systems Solutions and will offer hands-on opportunities for AI-supported applications.
This year’s focus is on AI and Rutronik’s partner collective mind will be on hand to demonstrate how machine vision can be used to optimise logistics processes, as well as Rutronik presenting manufacturers of electronic components with a focus on AI technologies and applications.
The investment of Rutronik in the AI specialist collective mind was announced in October 2024, and will enable the companies to combine their strengths. In addition to the logistics and consulting expertise of many different companies, Rutronik contributes, above all, hardware expertise at the product level of electronic components.
Since 2018, collective mind has been focusing on the field of machine vision. AI technology is used here to automate image processing. In this field, collective mind is the first company in Germany to have developed a certified safety system that is based on camera-based object and process recognition.
As a research and development division, Rutronik System Solutions is a reliable partner for industrial customers, realising highly innovative and customised solutions that go far beyond the mere product level. Customers benefit from a significantly reduced time to market and a lower investment in pre-development.
The latest Adapter Board RAB5 – OSIRE has been specially designed for LED applications in the automotive industry and Industry 4.0. With the RAB5 – OSIRE, the experts at Rutronik are relying on high-performance LEDs from the OSIRE series by ams Osram. Similar to the previous boards, the RAB5 – OSIRE can be combined with all Base Boards (Rutronik Development Kits, RDK) and other Adapter Boards (Rutronik Adapter Boards, RAB), thanks to the Arduino interface.
Finally, Rutronik will be highlighting its suppliers as products from Infineon, MediaTek and Nordic Semiconductor, among others, will be on show. A broad product portfolio from embedded manufacturers such as Intel, Asus, Adlink and Kontron will be present.
