Advantech is collaborating with its channel partner Adey Electronics and special guests Siretta and Poynting for a comprehensive day dedicated to the latest advancements and applications in wireless solutions.
The Cellular and Wireless Solutions Day will attract Solution Architects, Operations Managers, Engineers, Technicians, Installers, and Technical Sales Engineers. The presentations will focus on applications in traffic and infrastructure, energy and environmental, security systems, factory automation, and process and control.
This complimentary event begins with registration and refreshments at 9am, followed by a full day of discussions, including lunch, with product demonstrations, networking, and Q&A sessions. The day concludes with a summary at 4pm, with delegates expected to depart around 4:45pm.
The day’s programme will feature:
- Advantech: Using ICR-OS industrial cellular devices for industrial applications, aiding in the identification of appropriate solutions for customer applications. The session will delve into case studies, important tips, and considerations for transportation and energy applications, common configurations for robust communications and security, and WebAccess/VPN remote access methods
- Advantech/Adey: Practical demonstrations and case studies on the use of remote management platforms in transportation applications to effectively manage large national deployments
- Mobius: An overview of mobile networks, security, access control, and resilience, including an examination of individual components and common connectivity and reliability issues. Solutions to enhance reliability beyond 99%
- Advantech: Cellular LPWAN Technologies for industrial applications, including RedCap, NB-IoT, and Cat-M
- Advantech: Local wireless sensing solutions, comparing LoRaWAN and WiFi, along with discussions on gateways, clients, and sensor technologies
- Go Monitor: Application demonstration and solutions for CBM, gateways, sensors, and dashboarding
- Poynting: Guidance on choosing the right antennas, highlighting do’s and don’ts for customer applications. This session will simplify complex antenna and RF datasheets to provide practical advice and improve the experience of cellular antenna installations during the planning phase and in the field
- Adey: Insights into 4G/5G survey tools, discussing how signal testers and other tools can provide real-time and historical data for signal strength and quality. This aids in identifying weak spots, dead zones, or interference, allowing for informed decisions on antenna choice, placement, and cabling
