Cornerstone has become the first UK mast operator to deploy Vyntelligence’s artificial intelligence platform, in a move aimed at speeding up mobile network roll-outs, cutting audit costs, and improving safety across its 15,700 sites.
The partnership comes as mobile network operators (MNOs) and the government push for faster expansion of digital infrastructure to meet rising demand for connectivity.
Cornerstone, which supplies towers and small cell technology to operators and local authorities, said the collaboration would give it remote, AI-driven oversight of its national estate.
Andy Train, Cornerstone’s Chief Network Officer, said the adoption of Vyntelligence’s system would allow the company to “slash multiple audit rounds” by automating site checks. “With Vyn, Cornerstone will gain 360 degree remote visibility of sites and assets, enabling AI-powered self-audit automation, as well as building a proactive safety culture,” he said.
Vyntelligence’s software turns short “show and tell” videos recorded by field teams into data for automated analysis. The platform, already used by utilities and telecoms companies, assesses site conditions, work quality, and safety risks in real time, providing assurance teams with faster information for decision-making.
Kapil Singhal, Chief Executive of Vyntelligence, said the agreement came “at an exciting juncture for telecoms, where rising consumer expectations meet the demands of capital delivery, risk, and compliance.”
