CSL and Legrand Care have announced an extension of their strategic partnership with the launch of rSIM technology.
This latest announcement is a major milestone in a 10-year partnership between CSL and Legrand Care. As part of the launch, rSIM technology will be made available in Legrand Care’s Reach IP 4G solution.
rSIM is a resilient and intelligent SIM card that monitors connectivity and actively switches profiles for maximum uptime. Two independent mobile operator profiles are stored on a single SIM card, significantly reducing the risk of outages by automatically switching to a back-up mobile operator profile.
“This marks a major step forward in our ongoing collaboration with CSL,” says Trevor Hoggard, National Sales Manager – Telehealth & Monitoring Solutions, Legrand Care. “Short disruptions in connectivity can pose serious risks in telehealth, which is why we’ve focused on finding a smarter, more resilient solution.
“The dual-SIM equivalent capability within rSIM ensures continuous service by automatically switching between mobile networks when needed, offering a level of redundancy that’s critical in emergency scenarios. With real-time network monitoring and intelligent failover, rSIM gives our users added peace of mind.”
“The introduction of rSIM represents a major advancement in the long-standing collaboration between CSL and Legrand Care,” added Max Stevens, Head of Telehealth IoT, CSL. “With over 10 years of joint effort supporting vulnerable individuals throughout Europe, this latest development reinforces our shared commitment to delivering seamless connectivity across the telehealth sector. By combining CSL’s comprehensive managed service with the unique capabilities of rSIM—such as intelligent profile switching to ensure optimal uptime—Legrand Care is further empowered to provide a leading-edge telehealth solution.”
