Season 2 of IoT Unplugged which began in January of this year, saw IoT Insider speak to industry leaders on a range of topics, from satellite connectivity to ambient IoT and digital twin technology. Ahead of the first episode debuting on the 10th July, Season 3 promises to continue its time-honoured tradition of delivering in-depth insights to listeners.
In the fast-moving world of IoT, keeping up pace with developments such as new technologies is essential. Providing information on a wide variety of topics, season 3 of IoT Unplugged is the go-to podcast to hear from industry experts on how MRAM technology is supporting industrial IoT; how to make satellite connectivity cost-effective and reliable; facilitating connectivity using wireless mesh networks, and more.
Although each episode was different in its focus and topic deep-dive, an important message imparted by all experts who spoke on the podcast was the power of IoT technologies to transform different industries and applications, whether this be industrial IoT, smart homes or even manufacturing.
In the episode coming out tomorrow, IoT Insider Editor Caitlin Gittins will speak to Sanjeev Aggarwal, President and CEO of Everspin Technologies. Having been appointed CEO of Everspin in 2022, Aggarwal explains that the position has been eye-opening: “This gave me an opportunity to learn about various aspects of Everspin. What does it take to build this technology? What does it take to commercialise it? What are the challenges faced by each of the teams that work on the project?”
He speaks more specifically to IoT Insider about how MRAM (magnetoresistive random access memory) technology is supporting industrial IoT use cases, which is used in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
