SoftwareOne recently announced it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Digital Sovereignty Competency status and has been named an official launch partner for this certification.
The specialisation recognises SoftwareOne as an AWS Partner, helping clients move sensitive workloads to the Cloud safely, while addressing digital sovereignty requirements around data residency and security, data access restrictions, resilience and survivability, and self-sufficiency.
Achieving the AWS Digital Sovereignty Competency differentiates SoftwareOne as an AWS Partner that has demonstrated its technical proficiency and proven success in enabling digital sovereignty, allowing clients to design and deploy secure and compliant Cloud environments to drive innovation and modernisation of applications and workloads.
One of the ways in which SoftwareOne supports clients in their journey to digital sovereignty is via its AWS Landing Zone, a comprehensive pre-configured and automated framework that provides a foundation for building a robust, multi-account AWS environment to ensure secure and compliant operations.
Organisations are finding digital sovereignty is becoming more critical to their success in an era of increased cybersecurity threats, interruptions to business continuity, and the need for local autonomy.
“Through our local presence in more than 60 countries, we support businesses in their entire cloud journeys onto AWS, from consulting on Cloud strategy and workload migration to accelerating data and AI implementations,” said Oliver Berchtold, President, Software and Cloud at SoftwareOne. “Digital sovereignty has increasingly become a priority for our customers, particularly those operating in sectors with high data security requirements such as government and public sector, financial services, or healthcare.
“Through our AWS expertise and knowledge of local and regional data and compliance laws, we support them as they seek control, continuity and compliance when moving to the cloud. We are honoured to be a launch partner and to have been awarded one of the first in the AWS Digital Sovereignty Competency.”
