Siren Marine’s IoT device, the Siren 3 Pro, is now being installed as standard on select 2025 model Pursuit boats that are 32 feet or longer.
“We’re excited to work with the Pursuit team to bring Connected Boat technology to a greater number of customers on the water,” said Andrew Cullen, Director, Connectivity, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit. “Like Pursuit, Siren aims to elevate the boating experience by giving customers the added benefits of remote connectivity, security and monitoring – all through their smart phones.”
“Today’s customers want to have the ability to monitor their boats from their mobile devices, just like they do their homes,” said Mark Taiclet, Director of Brand Management. “By standardising in Siren 3 Pro within our 32-foot+ model portfolio, we can empower our customers with an unmatched Connected Boat ownership experience.”
The Siren 3 Pro, operated through the Siren Connected Boat mobile app and hardware, offers comprehensive real-time vessel security, versatile monitoring and tracking capabilities, and convenient features such as remote digital switching. The mobile app allows users to access and manage all these functions directly from their smartphones or smartwatches.
Furthermore, Siren’s integration with Yamaha’s Command Link Plus protocol enables the technology to automatically notify boat owners and their preferred dealers about upcoming maintenance requirements, based on actual engine usage. The system also keeps a record of all maintenance performed on the boat, updated by either the dealer or the boat owner. Additionally, a low power mode helps conserve battery life during periods of reduced functionality, such as during winterisation or when power availability is limited.
The Siren 3 Pro represents the latest evolution in remote boat monitoring and telematics, leading the way in Connected Boat technology. It operates over a global 4G/5G LTE-M cellular network, with the option to add SirenSat, an offshore antenna for those venturing beyond cellular coverage. The device supports both wired and wireless sensors, as well as connection to the NMEA 2000 network.
Through the Siren Connected Boat app, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, users can access the Siren Marine dashboard, providing real-time information on their boat’s location and the status of all monitored systems.
