Schneider Electric has adopted Generative AI (GenAI) technology, integrated with Microsoft Azure OpenAI, to enhance customer service and transform internal operations. This move builds upon Schneider Electric’s established partnership with Microsoft.
The integration of Microsoft Azure OpenAI into Schneider Electric’s systems has enabled the creation of solutions utilising algorithms for text, code, and content generation. This strategic adoption has streamlined operational processes, improved resource allocation, and accelerated efficiency and speed. Furthermore, Schneider Electric applies GenAI to innovate in its product offerings.
Schneider Electric’s applications of GenAI include:
Resource Advisor Copilot: Utilising Microsoft Azure OpenAI’s Large Language Model, this digital tool embedded in Resource Advisor offers advanced data analysis, visualisation, decision support, performance optimisation, and processes complex industry and system information.
Jo-Chat GPT: An internal conversational assistant leveraging Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, providing employees with secure access to GenAI features.
Finance Advisor: A conversational tool saving €10 million annually, offering precise information for financial analysts in accounting and other global finance areas, enhancing consistency, compliance, and timeliness in decision-making.
Knowledge Bot: Assists customer care representatives in providing accurate responses to customer inquiries, drawing from extensive internal documentation.
