Global IoT technology firm Kontron has announced the expansion of its management team. Philipp Schulz and Dr Johannes Fues have been appointed to the management board, taking on key strategic roles within the company. Philipp Schulz will serve as Chief Operating Officer for the Aerospace and North America business unit, while Dr Fues will assume the role of COO for the GreenTec business unit.
Philipp Schulz joined Kontron in October 2022 and has led the North America business unit since 1 January 2024. He holds a degree in commercial science from the University of Vienna and has a background in consultancy. Schulz spent over 15 years in various managerial positions at voestalpine AG.
Dr Johannes Fues has extensive experience in organisational restructuring and transformation projects with leading management consultancies. At PRIMEPULSE, he managed asset operations, and as CFO of KATEK SE, he oversaw all financial affairs.
Additionally, Michael Riegert, a member of the Executive Board and COO of the Industrial Division, has had his contract extended by three years. These strategic appointments position Kontron AG for future growth and reinforce its leadership in innovation across relevant markets.
