Emerson has been honoured with the “Industrial IoT Company of the Year” award by IoT Breakthrough for the sixth consecutive year in 2024. This accolade acknowledges Emerson’s significant contributions to sustainability-enabling technologies and software, its pivotal role in expediting the development and distribution of essential drugs, and its pioneering Boundless Automation vision, which heralds a new era of software-defined industrial automation architecture.

Notable advancements include the Ovation Green portfolio, offering renewable power solutions to decarbonise and reduce emissions while enhancing the integration of renewable energy into power grids. Additionally, the Floor to Cloud solutions provide continuous monitoring and visualisation of crucial production data to enhance energy efficiency in factories.
Emerson’s leadership in the development of digital technologies aimed at accelerating drug development is also acknowledged. A recent notable innovation is the One-Click Technology Transfer software, which transforms the manufacturing recipe transfer process in life sciences into a digitised production platform, thereby hastening the delivery of new drug therapies to patients.
This year, Emerson introduced the first in a series of new technologies under its Boundless Automation vision, laying the groundwork for its next-generation, software-centric automation platform. The new DeltaV Edge Environment facilitates secure and seamless data movement between the intelligent field, edge, and cloud, maintaining operational context, thus enabling quicker access to data and expedited decision-making.
