VIZZIO Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with ASRock Industrial. The collaboration aims to develop advanced digital twin and live 3D surveillance applications for smart cities and industrial manufacturing, utilising ASRock’s INTEL-based Edge AIoT platform.
Through its subsidiary, POLYTRON.AI, VIZZIO has pioneered the AI-powered LIVE 3D camera, incorporating a patented embedded chip that enables “360 3D Video” generation. This technology combines multiple video streams to create real-time virtual environments via an advanced fusion technique, transforming industries such as real estate, tourism, education, and entertainment by providing immersive, interactive experiences.
As smart cities increasingly rely on real-time monitoring, this partnership seeks to integrate VIZZIO’s expertise in large-scale 3D city mapping and visualisation with ASRock’s powerful hardware solutions. Together, they will create scalable applications for smart and safe city initiatives, improving urban safety, operational efficiency, and providing real-time 3D navigation experiences.
Key elements of the collaboration include:
- City-scale digital twin: VIZZIO will use its proprietary AI-based EARTH ENGINE for detailed, accurate urban modelling
- POLYTRON LIVE 3D camera: AI-driven cameras that create real-time 3D virtual tours and immersive experiences
- Intel-powered Edge Computing: ASRock’s Edge AIoT platform, equipped with Intel processors, will support the complex 3D rendering and real-time data processing
- Edge-based video analytics: The collaboration will utilise OpenVINO for AI-driven video analytics in various edge applications, including security and traffic monitoring
This partnership also promises advancements in industrial automation, with AI solutions for predictive maintenance, defect detection, and robotic vision in manufacturing environments. The initial focus will be on deploying these solutions across smart city projects in South East Asia, China, and the Middle East, targeting sectors such as water utilities, energy plants, and factories.
“We are thrilled to partner with ASRock Industrial. Their expertise in industrial computing, combined with our AI-POWERED REAL-TIME DIGITAL TWIN technology, creates a formidable synergy that will drive significant advancements in smart manufacturing, smart city, safe city applications,” said Jon Lee, Founder and CEO of POLYTRON.AI and VIZZIO.AI. “Together, we are poised to unlock new levels of operational efficiency and productivity for our clients. By combining our advanced 3D modeling capabilities with ASRock Industrial’s powerful Intel-based hardware with OPEN VINO, we are delivering powerful inferencing capabilities and real-time Edge-based video analytics, enabling businesses to process data closer to the source.”
“We are thrilled to partner with VIZZIO Technologies and POLYTRON.AI, its camera technology subsidiary. Their innovative approach to digital twin technology aligns perfectly with our mission to provide robust and reliable AI computing solutions for demanding environments,” added James Lee, Chairman of ASRock Industrial. “Together, we will push the boundaries of what’s possible in real-time interactive digital twin applications. The first joint solutions are expected to be unveiled for water utilities, energy power plants, factories and malls across South East Asia, China and Middle East, showcasing the potential of this ground breaking partnership to reshape urban and industrial environments worldwide.”
The first phase of the partnership will involve pilot projects in Singapore, the Middle East, and South East Asia, demonstrating the transformative potential of AIoT and real-time digital twin technology to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Both companies look forward to expanding their collaboration into additional sectors such as defence, construction, and facilities management.
