Realcomm and IBcon are industry events that focus on automated business solutions, cutting-edge technologies, and the future of smart, sustainable, intelligent buildings for the commercial and corporate real estate industry. On 20-21 June 2024, the EnOcean Alliance and selected members will present their latest wireless sensor solutions based on the international EnOcean Standard.
Realcomm is an event dedicated to automated business solutions and advanced enterprise technologies for the commercial and corporate real estate industry. IBcon is recognised globally as the premier event for the next generation of smart, connected, high-performance, net-zero, sustainable, intelligent buildings.
Alliance members Magnum First and Skylytics will join the EnOcean Alliance at booth 2030 in the Tampa Convention Centre, showcasing their innovative solutions for smart buildings and smart spaces based on the open international batteryless wireless standard IEC/ISO 14543-3-11. Additional Alliance members, including Distech Controls, KMC Controls, Mechoshade, Molex, Siemens, and Somfy, will display their solutions at their own booths.
The market for smart buildings and smart spaces is growing rapidly, driven by local and national laws, directives, corporate initiatives, organisational goals, and ESG (environmental, social, governance) considerations. Smart buildings offer significant benefits, including energy and cost savings, carbon reduction, and improvements in health and wellness. Moreover, smart spaces enable space optimisation, energy usage optimisation, cost savings, and increased productivity.
This year’s Realcomm/IBcon conferences will address the challenges and innovative solutions that will establish a new paradigm for safer, more efficient, and engaging buildings.
The EnOcean Alliance was launched as an open non-profit organisation at the Light & Building Show in 2008 to promote the development and marketing of interoperable, maintenance-free, and sustainable system solutions based on the international EnOcean Standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3-10/11).
Graham Martin, founding CEO & Chairman EnOcean Alliance, said: “Originally launched with 7 companies, the EnOcean Alliance now unites over 400 members worldwide and is one of the most successful alliances in the area of smart building monitoring and control. We are proud of our success story with millions of buildings now using our standard, helping to save energy, reduce CO2 output and creating smarter and healthier buildings.”
The EnOcean ecosystem of battery-less sensor solutions currently includes 5000 product variants built on 1500 basic products, with new additions continually being made. The millions of buildings worldwide using these wireless networks make EnOcean the international reference technology in wireless standards for building automation.
