Nozomi Networks has formalised its partnership with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), by establishing a reseller agreement and certifying expertise for Nozomi Networks’ software.
This partnership enables customers worldwide to implement Nozomi Networks’ leading OT and IoT continuous monitoring solution into their industrial networks, supported by the expertise and experience of SEL Cyber Services.
“Customers depend on SEL to deliver secure solutions and Nozomi Networks’ AI-powered platform helps us achieve this,” said Will Edwards, Head of Cyber Services at SEL. “By giving customers an easy option to integrate the Nozomi Networks platform into SEL Software-Defined Networks, customers have access to advanced solutions designed to strengthen the reliability and availability of their services and help them more easily address a rising sea of regulatory and compliance requirements.”
Critical infrastructure sectors are increasingly subject to regulation to ensure the uninterrupted provision of essential services. Consequently, customers turn to SEL Cyber Services for guidance on security standards such as NERC CIP, IEC 62443, the NIST Risk Management Framework, and the SOCI Act. As these standards and frameworks continue to evolve, there is a growing need for internal network security monitoring to safeguard the cybersecurity of local area networks. Nozomi Networks’ solutions effectively address these crucial requirements, simplifying the monitoring of networks and ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
The continuous availability of power utility infrastructure is crucial to society. Many of the cyber and physical control systems that support this infrastructure now rely on Ethernet networks for their safety and reliability functions. Critical network traffic, such as digital secondary systems and arc-flash signals, demands performance assurance and robust cybersecurity measures. SEL Cyber Services assists critical infrastructure customers globally in assessing their operational risks and implementing scalable networking and cybersecurity solutions tailored to their specific and stringent requirements.
SEL’s OT-Software-Defined Networks (SDN) are designed specifically for challenging environments, where unauthorised devices and traffic are blocked by default. By integrating a centralised application like Nozomi Networks’ Vantage cloud-hosted security platform, customers gain full control over traffic flows, eliminating the need for traffic taps or aggregators and enabling more efficient data management.
“For more than four decades, SEL has been making electric power safer, more reliable, and more economical worldwide,” said Chet Namboodri, Nozomi Networks Senior Vice President of Global Business Development. “We share SEL’s mission and are pleased to combine our strengths to ensure that future generations have the means to pursue an increasingly higher quality of life.”
Nozomi Networks’ solutions are now available through SEL.
