Goodix Technology has partnered with United Automotive Electronic Systems (UAES) in response to the increasing diversity of in-vehicle connectivity scenarios. The collaboration integrates Goodix’s Bluetooth LE SoC into UAES’ digital car key solutions, providing value to automotive manufacturers.
Goodix, with its strong R&D capabilities and extensive IoT expertise, is diving into the cutting-edge world of in-vehicle connectivity. The GR5405, its first automotive-grade Bluetooth LE SoC, has successfully passed the AEC-Q100 Grade 2 certification, showcasing its high reliability and performance. By partnering with UAES, Goodix will leverage the GR5405’s advanced RF performance, low-power consumption feature, and Bluetooth LE link sniffer solution to push boundaries. UAES adds its rich experience in vehicle product development, complementing Goodix’s technology to deliver seamless and intuitive digital car key solutions.
Additionally, the two companies will join forces to conduct pre-research on cutting-edge technologies and to develop innovative platforms based on Goodix’s upcoming next-generation automotive-grade Bluetooth LE SoC, adhering to the latest Bluetooth Channel Sounding standard. This collaboration aims to deliver more distinctive solutions for a wide range of in-vehicle connectivity applications.
Goodix has expanded its R&D capability and product portfolio to include a range of automotive electronics. Products such as automotive-grade touch control, fingerprint, and audio are widely acknowledged by major automakers. As the emerging digital car keys, Goodix offers automotive-grade Bluetooth LE SoC and security chips with higher computing power, security, and reliability to accelerate customers’ product implementation with its ‘one-stop’ development support.
Goodix also has passed the ISO 26262 ASIL D certification for automotive functional safety management systems and is accelerating the development of a comprehensive, full-lifecycle functional safety standard to provide customers with industry-leading innovative products and solutions.
