IoT Insider, the go-to resource for IoT engineers, developers and industry professionals, is pleased to announce it will be participating in the electronics fair electronica, running from 12-15 November in Munich, Germany.
IoT Insider will be supporting its sister publication Electronic Specifier, as it looks forward to engaging with the global electronics engineering community, reporting on the latest trends, technologies and challenges that reflect the evolving electronics and IoT industry.

Electronic Specifier will be showcasing the electronica edition of its Electronic Specifier Design Magazine. Copies of Startups Magazine, Procurement Pro, and IoT Insider will also be available. Visitors will also have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win some Bose noise-cancelling headphones.
Coverage of electronica will be available through the Electronic Specifier website and IoT Insider website and their respective social media channels, offering readers worldwide a glimpse into the future of electronics.
Cyber Security forum
Electronic Specifier is one again hosting the extremely popular Cyber Security forum.

With a surge in attempted breaches targeting businesses, governmental bodies, and critical infrastructure, the importance of robust cybersecurity measures cannot be overstated. Women in Tech forum
New for 2024, Electronic Specifier has partnered with Women in Electronics (WE) to host the Women in Tech forum. Both organisations have a long-standing commitment to fostering inclusion, supporting underrepresented groups, and advocating for equitable opportunities for all.
The Women in Tech forum will kick off with a keynote from Jackie Mattox, WE Founder & Chief Executive Officer, addressing systemic change and the mission for WE United globally. Immediately following, Paige West, Managing Editor, Electronic Specifier will lead a panel of senior leaders in an authentic discussion regarding leadership best practices for inclusion in the workplace. Currently confirmed panellists include senior leaders from TDK, Texas Instruments, Mouser, and Infineon.
Electronic Specifier will host refreshments for guests and attendees following the session at its booth B4.299 (very close to the Visionary Forum).
This event promises to be a valuable opportunity for attendees to gain a deeper understanding of issues facing leaders within the electronics sector and the impact on talent retention for organisations.

Electronics Excellence Awards
At electronica 2024, Electronic Specifier will once again be celebrating the very best of the industry with its Electronics Excellence Awards.
Launched at electronica in 2022, this award is the most rigorous and transparent award in the industry. This time, exhibitors at electronica 2024 will be approached to submit their most innovative and show-stopping products.
New for the show, all entries will be shortlisted into one of three categories:
- Test & Measurement Product
- Power Product
- Electromechanical Product
All entrants will be invited to a short presentation at electronica where the winner will be announced. This will take place on 14th November at 12.50pm on the Visionary Stage in Hall B4.
