The Mobile Test Summit 2024 came to a close at Rohde & Schwarz’s headquarters in November, in Munich. The annual event provides a platform for industry professionals to share insights on the latest trends in mobile device and infrastructure testing.
This year’s topics were the next generation of 5G Advanced; mission- and business-critical networks; and energy efficiency and sustainability by design.
The Rohde & Schwarz Mobile Test Summit was held over two days, 19 to 20 November, 2024, at the company’s headquarters in Munich. Wireless communications professionals were invited to engage in two days of discussions on the latest developments in mobile device and infrastructure testing.
The event focused on the next step of 5G, exploring 5G Advanced, non-terrestrial networks, RedCap, mission- and business-critical services and the adaptation of AI and ML.
Another key discussion centered around energy efficiency for both mobile devices and networks. The line-up of speakers included players from the European Space Agency (ESA), Fraunhofer IIS, Frequentis, Nokia Bell Labs, and more.
