The new embedded computer OEM S82 is based on the Intel Atom Elkhart-Lake series and paves the way for future applications. The OEM series is used in mobile robotics, industrial automation, cleantech and transportation.
The Syslogic Embedded Box PC OEM S82 is equipped with a multi-core 64-bit Intel Atom processor from the Elkhart-Lake series. This compact industrial computer offers the right processor technology for future industrial applications. It is available from stock in various versions and serves as a CAN control computer, data logger and – in conjunction with an optional wireless module – as an IoT or vehicle gateway.
Compact and robust
The embedded computer OEM S82 is suitable for the temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius at component level. The box PC is cooled without a fan by means of integrated cooling fins. In addition to its robustness, the OEM S82 has compact dimensions of 174 x 52 x 127 mm. Depending on the version, it has a display port, four USB interfaces, four separate Gigabit Ethernet interfaces with their own NICs (Network Interface Cards) and two CAN interfaces.
For medium volumes, Syslogic adapts the configuration to the customer’s requirements. Possible options include analogue or digital I/Os and an integrated Wi-FI module. The availability of the industrial computers is guaranteed by a fixed BOM (Bill of Material). Common applications for the OEM computers are AGVs (automated guided vehicles), robotics, cleantech, traffic engineering or industrial automation.
Preconfigured and ready to use
The S82 OEM embedded computer is quick and easy to commission. It is suitable for OEMs and system integrators who want to exploit the potential of a robust embedded system in the IoT or CAN environment.
To ensure fast commissioning, Syslogic delivers its embedded systems with a pre-configured operating system. Depending on the requirements, Windows or Linux versions are available. The most common are Windows IoT and Debian 11.
