Advantech and SecEdge announced a strategic collaboration to deliver secure, scalable, and Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) ready MIC-AI computer systems powered by NVIDIA Jetson. The announcement came at Nvidia GTC which took place in San Jose, California, on the 16-19 March 2026. The joint offering addresses a growing industry need: protecting AI models deployed across distributed Edge environments.
Leveraging Advantech’s MIC-AI computer systems, SecEdge’s SEC TPM model protection platform, and AWS IoT Greengrass for secure Edge to cloud operations, the collaboration enables enterprises to deploy AI confidently in mission critical and regulated markets.
Securing AI Models on NVIDIA Jetson
As NVIDIA Jetson platforms take on increasingly complex inference workloads, AI models have become critical intellectual property. The Advantech–SecEdge solution protects AI models running on Jetson-based devices from unauthorised access, tampering, and model extraction—ensuring only trusted, verified models are executed in industrial, healthcare, smart city, and transportation applications.
“Edge AI innovation must be matched with strong security foundations,” said Magic Pao, Associate Vice President at Advantech. “At NVIDIA GTC 2026, our collaboration with SecEdge showed how organisations can deploy secure, scalable AI from the Edge to the cloud.”
“AI models are the new crown jewels of Edge AI,” said Sami Nasser, President and Co-CEO at SecEdge. “Working with Advantech, we’re delivering practical, deployable AI model protection built on NVIDIA Jetson platform to support enterprise growth and regulatory readiness.”
Trusted Edge AI deployment with AWS IoT greengrass
Through integration with SecEdge’s SEC TPM and AWS IoT Greengrass, the solution enables secure and authenticated deployment, updates, and lifecycle management of AI models across fleets of Advantech devices. It supports local inference, offline operation, secure communication, and centralised visibility via AWS – helping organisations scale Edge AI without compromising security.
Supporting CRA aligned security requirements
With the EU Cyber Resilience Act introducing new expectations for connected products, the jointly designed solution incorporates secure by design and secure by default principles. By strengthening model protection and platform level lifecycle security on Jetson devices, the collaboration helps reduce regulatory exposure as Edge AI adoption grows.
