Italian technology group SECO has unveiled six new artificial intelligence applications aimed at accelerating the adoption of AI in industrial and embedded systems.
The move is intended to strengthen the company’s Edge AI ecosystem and support faster deployment in production environments.
The new applications cover a range of use cases, including smart vending, vision analytics, and acoustic monitoring.
Among them are an AI-powered object detection tool for vending machines, a facial emotion recognition system designed to personalise user interactions, and an industrial noise classification model for predictive maintenance.
Other offerings include background removal for quality control, facial attribute detection using Qualcomm hardware acceleration, and a flexible training platform built on the Inception architecture.
Fausto Di Segni, Head of IoT and AI at SECO, said the company was focused on simplifying AI deployment at the edge. “By combining a growing portfolio of validated applications with the Clea Framework and the resources of our Developer Centre, we help companies accelerate their AI journey from concept to production, while ensuring full compatibility with existing ecosystems,” he said.
SECO said all six applications are validated for deployment across a wide range of platforms, including Intel, Qualcomm, NXP, AMD, Rockchip, and MediaTek. They are available through the company’s Application Hub, accompanied by technical documentation and a free trial of the Clea Framework.
