Semtech and NeoCortec will demosntrate their NeoMesh wireless networking technology using LoRa modulation at electronica India in Bengaluru, from 17-19th September. The live demonstration at Semtech’s booth will showcase how the combination of NeoMesh’s scalable mesh architecture and LoRa’s long-range capabilities complement one another.
The demonstration features multiple NeoMesh modules operating in a mesh network configuration, underscoring the technology’s ability to provide reliable, low-power connectivity for smart metering, agriculture and other IoT applications. Visitors can experience firsthand how the integrated solution simplifies network deployment while delivering the scalability and reliability needed for large-scale IoT implementations.
“Wireless connectivity technologies exist because they each address different challenges. At Electronica India, we’re demonstrating how combining NeoMesh’s mesh networking capabilities with LoRa modulation creates new possibilities for wireless IoT networks. We expect this integrated approach to unlock significant opportunities in smart metering, agriculture, and other applications requiring reliable, scalable connectivity,” said Thomas Steen Halkier, CEO, NeoCortec.
“The combination of LoRa modulation with NeoCortec’s mesh networking capabilities extends our technology’s applicability to serve India’s rapidly expanding e-metering market,” added Carlo Tinella, Director of Marketing and Product Management Wireless BU, Semtech. “This collaboration enables utilities to leverage LoRa’s proven RF performance while adding the scalability and cost-effectiveness that mesh topology brings to large-scale smart metering deployments.”
The NeoCortec-Semtech collaboration addresses key market requirements for IoT deployments that require both local mesh networking and long-range connectivity. NeoMesh’s protocol stack enables devices to communicate locally while extending network reach through mesh topology, while LoRa modulation provides proven performance in challenging RF environments.
