Concept Reply has partnered with DKE-Data—a consortium of agricultural machinery manufacturers—to enhance the agrirouter smart farming data exchange platform with the introduction of agrirouter 2.0.
This upgraded platform features a state-of-the-art, future-ready backend, offering enhanced connectivity, usability, and seamless data management for farmers globally. Agrirouter 2.0 enables farmers to gain better access to production data, optimise resource utilisation, and streamline the operation of agricultural machinery and processes to stay competitive in modern farming.
In the current agricultural landscape, digital data is crucial, ranging from precise land management to site-specific seed and fertiliser application, and adhering to sustainable production standards. Effective data exchange requires seamless communication between various agricultural software systems and machinery. DKE-Data entrusted Concept Reply to elevate the agrirouter platform from its SAP Leonardo base into a high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly solution.
Agrirouter 2.0 provides farmers with the ability to manage and control data exchange between their machinery and software applications from diverse manufacturers and suppliers, using standardised data formats. With integrated telemetry and GPS capabilities, it supports precision farming, data-driven decision-making, efficient resource planning, and improved yields.
The enhanced backend, coupled with an improved user interface and streamlined login process, offers farmers a more convenient experience with agrirouter 2.0. To further ease data access management, DKE-Data plans to implement a single sign-on solution with Concept Reply in the future, and is considering enabling remote control through agricultural software solutions or machine manufacturers’ portals.
To ensure user-friendliness and minimise disruption, Concept Reply’s specialists adopted a greenfield approach in developing the solution. Leveraging the existing API meant that farmers did not need to reconfigure their machinery or farm management software, ensuring uninterrupted operations—a key requirement for the project.
“Through our close collaboration with Reply, our over 5,000 agrirouter users can now perform their daily tasks even more effectively. The platform’s comprehensive modernization and integration into existing infrastructures provide farmers with seamless data exchange capabilities,” said Dr. Johannes Sonnen, Managing Director of DKE-Data. “This innovative architecture not only offers greater stability, performance and convenience, but also significantly speeds up machine and data management, ultimately improving operational processes and driving long-term economic success. It’s no surprise that we welcome around 150 new farmers to the new platform each month.”
