Wialon, a fleet management software provider, has announced an integration with Silicon Valley-based MapUp to deliver real-time toll billing and reimbursements for more than 4.2 million connected vehicles.
The partnership combines Wialon’s GPS tracking capabilities with MapUp’s TollTally platform, enabling fleets to capture toll costs instantly and automate associated financial processes, including customer billing and driver reimbursements. The integration, available immediately across Wialon’s network of more than 2,700 partners operating in over 160 countries, aims to reduce administrative workloads and improve operational transparency.
“Real-time toll billing and reimbursements mean fleets can treat tolls as just another data stream – accurate, transparent, and instantly actionable,” said Aliaksandr Kuushynau, Head of Wialon. “This integration is a step towards embedding financial processes directly into telematics.”
Katie Mahlawat, Founder and CEO of MapUp, said the collaboration addresses one of the fleet industry’s persistent challenges: delays in toll billing. “Fleets can now eliminate toll billing delays, improve driver trust, and run more efficient operations, no matter where they drive,” she said.
The integration supports a range of fleet types, including rental, leasing, trucking, logistics, and field operations. It leverages Wialon’s compatibility with over 3,800 GPS device models from 700 manufacturers, allowing companies to match toll charges to trips, cost centres, and customers automatically, potentially cutting administrative work by up to 30%.
Wialon, developed by European software company Gurtam and headquartered in Vilnius, has been operational for more than 20 years and connects fleets across Europe, the US, and Asia. MapUp, based in Silicon Valley, operates in over 100 countries and provides AI-powered GPS solutions for toll and fuel management.
