Trust Stamp and Scurid join to integrate biometrics into IIoT devices

Trust Stamp has formed a strategic alliance with Scurid to integrate biometric technology into IoT devices.

This collaboration aims to tackle security issues and enhance authentication and authorisation, creating a more integrated connection between users and devices, according to the companies.

Scurid’s platform facilitates seamless connectivity between IoT edge devices, IoT platforms, databases, and various applications. Noted for its user-friendly design, the platform enables clients to quickly implement secure autonomous IoT systems in their applications. Scurid has deployed its platform in over a thousand devices, earning trust in production environments.

Trust Stamp’s IT2 technology, a key component of this partnership, transforms facial biometrics into a tokenised, irreversible form, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorised access or misuse of compromised biometric data.

The collaboration has applications spanning fleet management, smart manufacturing, smart cities, and smart warehouses, eliminating complexities in traditional authentication and fostering intuitive interaction between humans and machines.
