Seiko Solutions and Indicus Software have announced a landmark partnership set to reshape the future of telematics services.
This collaboration highlights Seiko Solutions’ dedication to advancing its telematics offerings in response to a rapidly evolving market. Since entering the telematics field in 2011, Seiko Solutions has been utilising its proprietary communication technology and IoT innovations to deliver comprehensive telematics services, particularly to automobile manufacturers and leasing companies. The partnership with Indicus Software is strategically aimed at enhancing Seiko Solutions’ capacity to address the increasing demands of its customers by integrating advanced customisation capabilities into its services.
The core of this strategic agreement is the integration of Indicus Software’s state-of-the-art IoT platform, “Contineo,” which leverages Gen AI and low-code/no-code technology, to enhance Seiko Solutions’ fleet service, “DriveCloud+”. This collaboration is poised to significantly bolster Seiko Solutions’ ability to meet the evolving needs of its clients and expand its presence within the telematics industry.
“Our innovative communication technology and Indicus’ cutting-edge IoT solutions allows us to offer unmatched value to our customers in various industries,” said Jun Sekin, President, Seiko Solutions. “Our partnership with Indicus Software marks a pivotal moment in our journey to revolutionise telematics services. Our goal is to use our combined experience to develop solutions that not only meet but also surpass consumer expectations in a meaningful way.”
Seiko Solutions has been recognised for its strength in IoT technology, which integrates hardware and wireless communication, drawing on the Seiko Group’s expertise in manufacturing. Since 2011, Seiko Solutions has provided a variety of telematics services, such as fleet management and rental car infrastructure systems, offering these as a one-stop service to automobile and leasing companies. The company plays a vital role in supporting the infrastructure of mobility services, operating behind the scenes to ensure efficient service delivery.
“Seiko Solutions’ strength lies in IoT technology, which combines hardware and wireless communication technology, making use of the Seiko Group’s strengths in manufacturing technology,” added Sekin. “Applying this IoT technology, we have been providing various telematics services (systems that provide information services by equipping vehicles such as cars with communication devices) to automobile and leasing companies, etc. as a one-stop service since 2011. We support the infrastructure of mobility services by working behind the scenes as corporate services such as fleet management and rental car infrastructure systems.”
Indicus Software’s “Contineo” platform is an AI-driven IoT digital transformation solution that facilitates the development of multi-tenant applications and microservices, using innovative low-code and no-code (LCNC) technology. The platform boasts a proven track record across various fields, including factory DX, telematics, life sciences, retail, and smart cities. Additionally, the upcoming release of the “NeoPilot Generative AI Conversational Assistant” will harness AI agent orchestration to build and deploy Contineo applications using Natural Language Processing (NLP).
Currently, the Contineo IoT Big-data platform is already operational as the foundation for Seiko Solutions’ corporate safe driving support cloud service, “DriveCloud+”. This platform has demonstrated its capability to provide clear insights into driving conditions through data collected from in-vehicle devices.
Through this business alliance, Seiko Solutions and Indicus Software will leverage their combined strengths to better meet emerging customer needs and drive the expansion of the telematics sector. Seiko Solutions remains committed to using its technology to contribute to the industry’s future, where automobile transportation is expected to evolve into new and diverse forms.
With the signing of this agreement, Seiko Solutions and Indicus Software are set to embark on a collaborative journey that will drive growth, foster innovation, and enhance responsiveness within the telematics industry, marking an exciting new chapter for both companies.
