Gilat Satellite Networks recently announced it has secured orders exceeding $12 million from a prominent satellite operator to expand their global SATCOM network. This expansion will utilise Gilat’s SkyEdge range of VSAT platforms, with delivery expected over the next 12 months.
The deal represents a significant opportunity for future revenue growth. The satellite operator will leverage Gilat’s adaptable architecture to ensure reliable and seamless communications across various orbital assets.
This news follows the announcement of Gilat joining WAVE Consortium, an organisation established in March of this year to advancing satellite communication networks.
“We are thrilled to broaden our collaboration with this key customer, which underscores our dedication to advancing satellite communications technology and reflects the high level of trust our customers have in our solutions.” said Hagay Katz, Chief Product and Marketing Officer at Gilat. “We are continuously pushing the boundaries of innovation to enhance the capabilities of our cutting-edge SkyEdge platforms and are dedicated to providing satellite operators with the functionality, scalability and future-proof solutions that they require.”
