Viomi, a prominent IoT home technology firm in China, recently hosted its Spring New Home Water Solution Product and AIoT@Home Solution Product Launch Events. The company unveiled a series of new products at the China Home Appliance and Consumer Electronics Expo (AWE) in Shanghai from 14-17 March.
Kunlun, the new Viomi AI mineral water purifier introduced at the event, selects high-quality mineral sources and employs advanced techniques for intelligent system adjustments based on various parameters, ensuring a consistent and durable release of beneficial minerals. The filtered water contains six essential minerals, including strontium (Sr2+) and metasilicic acid (H2SiO3), mirroring the composition of natural mineral water. Remarkably, the Sr2+ content varies from 0.4-1.4mg/L, significantly exceeding the national standard of 0.2mg/L. This development provides a healthier water purification option, particularly beneficial for health-conscious individuals and families with young children.
Mr. Xiaoping Chen, Founder and CEO of Viomi, stated: “Our engagement in the water purification sector for nearly a decade has positioned us at the forefront of the industry, with achievements such as a 2000G ultra-large flux and a decade-long RO filter, over 1,300 related patents, and the most extensive manufacturing and R&D facilities in the industry. We are committed to further deepening our investment in the water purification industry chain, aiming to bring more comprehensive residential water solutions to a broader audience.”
In the AIoT@Home sector, Viomi launched Alpha X, a cardiorespiratory detection radar equipped with millimeter-wave radar technology, focusing on monitoring and protecting family health. Alpha X’s 60GHz millimeter-wave radar AI module enables contactless detection of heart/thorax micro-movement frequency in real-time, addressing the challenges faced by older individuals at home. Additionally, Viomi introduced Super 3, the all-space AI air-conditioner 2.0, which intelligently adjusts ambient temperature during different sleep stages, and the multimillion-dollar Space series, offering stylish, customised, and intelligent product experiences.
“Throughout the AWE fair, our new offerings received considerable acclaim. Visitors were particularly impressed with the taste of the mineral water purified by our Kunlun purifier. The real-time water quality feedback and accurate filtration status display provided a reassuring experience through technology. In the on-site experience area for Alpha X and our AIoT@Home immersive space, visitors fully experienced the application of AI technology in living environments, appreciating its role in enhancing convenience, health, eco-friendliness, and home security. With our AI Water and AIoT@Home business segments, we aim to promote a healthy and ‘AI: Helpful’ life philosophy, offering more ‘healthy water’ solutions and caring, intelligent AIoT@Home solutions,” concluded Mr. Chen.
