As a seasoned leader with a proven track record of selling to and deploying solutions at scale with Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Avillez will be responsible for leading Plume’s global commercail strategy, bringing more focus to the market needs of ISPs.
Avillez brings decades of expertise in shaping next-generation solutions, driving new revenue opportunities, and building successful teams. He joins from Plume from CUJO AI, where he served as the company’s Senior Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships, and will work closely with new Plume CTO Chris Griffiths. “We continue to add experienced operators to our leadership team, who have either worked at tier one ISPs or collaborated with them on developing and scaling new technology solutions,” said Dan Herscovici, President and CEO of Plume. “Marcio has a deep understanding of service provider needs and a track record of driving commercial success while building strong customer and industry relationships.”
Avillez’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Plume as it shifts its entire focus to serving ISP customers. With an SaaS platform, built upon the data from billions of device points, the aim is to help service providers deliver superior connectivity and strong security for their subscribers, all while reducing the costs to operate and support them.
Avillez will also be tasked with expanding the company’s global footprint through new ISP relationships in the US, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America.
