eSIM technology – the standard of which for IoT devices was published in 2023 – was explored from the perspective of how In-Factory Profile Provisioning (IFPP) is becoming crucial to integrating eSIM profiles while devices are in production and making the whole process smoother and easier.
In the spirit of technology being developed to offer end users greater convenience and ease of use in their lives, NXP Semiconductors spoke about how they had created an autonomous secure access solution whereby an end user could unlock their front door using their phone; evidence of how a combination of protocols, ingenuity, and use case exploration create a potent mix.
