Postrack, the Scandinavian GPS asset tracking specialist, has entered the UK market as part of its wider international expansion strategy, establishing a new British subsidiary to serve transport, logistics, construction, and industrial clients.
The Sweden-based company, founded in 2008, provides battery-powered tracking devices designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Its products are aimed at helping operators improve efficiency, cut costs, and reduce theft or misuse across a range of assets including vehicles, trailers, containers, machinery, and waste equipment.
“Our comprehensive portfolio of asset tracking solutions is proven to deliver improved operational efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced utilisation,” said Niclas Holm, Postrack’s Founder and Chief Executive. “Our success in Scandinavia and across mainland Europe means we are well-placed to help both end-user operators and technology providers in the UK.”
Postrack’s devices, which feature a battery life of up to 20 years and carry IP68 or IP69K protection ratings, are designed to operate in harsh conditions. The company said that its technology provides full visibility of both powered and unpowered assets, allowing customers to make data-driven decisions about fleet and equipment management.
The company’s technology has been adopted by several major European operators, including PostNord, which uses Postrack units on thousands of containers. The Nordic logistics firm reported a 24% reduction in rental costs and improved utilisation after deployment. Another client, NTEX, uses Postrack to monitor more than 1,200 trailers across Europe, achieving full fleet visibility and reducing downtime and operational expenses.
Postrack claims that customers in waste management and recycling have been able to complete the same workloads with 8 containers instead of 10, improving capital efficiency and delivering rapid returns on investment.
“We are already seeing a significant amount of interest within the UK,” said Holm. “We are excited about the opportunities that exist in this new market and have several developments planned for the remainder of the year that will enhance our product range and partner network.”
Headquartered in Sweden, with offices in the Netherlands and now the UK, Postrack provides end-to-end asset tracking systems across road transport, logistics, construction, waste management, and agriculture. The company said its goal is to help customers optimise asset use, lower costs, and strengthen security.
