IBASE Technology has secured two wins in the 2025 IoT Edge Computing Excellence Awards, underscoring the Taiwanese manufacturer’s ambitions in the increasingly competitive industrial Edge hardware market.
The company’s AES100 expandable Edge AI computer and its palm-sized ASB100-PI800 fanless system were recognised for advances in real-time processing, analytics, and AI-driven intelligence deployed at the network edge.
The AES100, positioned for industrial and commercial environments, is built around 14th and 13th Generation Intel Core processors, and supports an NVIDIA GPU rated up to 350W. The system is designed for rugged, fanless operation, targeting AI inference tasks in smart manufacturing, retail, automation, and wider AIoT deployments.
The ASB100-PI800, based on IBASE’s PI800 PICO-ITX board and powered by an Intel Atom x7835RE processor, offers a compact footprint of 133 × 102.2 × 51.5 mm. IBASE is pitching the device at space-constrained Edge installations requiring low power draw, consistent performance, and industrial reliability.
Albert Lee, President of IBASE Technology, said the awards validated the firm’s continued investment in industrial-grade AI edge systems. “We are honoured that both the AES100 and ASB100-PI800 have been recognised for their innovation and performance,” he said. “This award highlights our dedication to delivering robust, intelligent, and energy-efficient platforms that empower our global customers in Industry 4.0, and AIoT applications.”
Founded in 2000, IBASE designs and manufactures x86 and ARM-based industrial computing platforms at its ISO-certified facilities in Taiwan. Its portfolio spans embedded systems, edge AI computers, panel PCs, digital signage players, and network appliances, with ODM services offered for customers requiring customised hardware.
