Mouser Electronics, an authorised global distributor of cutting-edge electronic components and industrial automation products, now offers the RA6M3 AI/ML and RA4E1 AI/ML reference kits from Renesas Electronics.
Renesas’ kits serve as comprehensive reference solutions designed to streamline the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies into edge and endpoint systems. Built around the RA6M3 and RA4E1 32-bit RA microcontrollers, these kits facilitate the swift development of real-time analytics, audio, and vision applications.
The RA6M3 AI/ML and RA4E1 AI/ML reference kits, now available through Mouser, were crafted to tackle common engineering and product development hurdles encountered by system designers. Each kit provides multiple interfaces to function as a central hub for gathering data from diverse sensors for real-time analytics, audio, or vision-based AI/ML applications.
The RA6M3 reference kit features six Pmod connectors, while the RA4E1 kit incorporates three. Both kits boast Can FD, USB Type-C™, Segger J-Link debug port, and a camera parallel port. Additionally, the RA6M3 kit includes a camera module and Ethernet port to enhance connectivity. An onboard MEMS tracking device, coupled with an integrated temperature sensor and two MEMS microphones, facilitates positioning and audio recognition applications. Furthermore, a TFT module with resistive touch functionality serves as a human-machine interface (HMI) and is utilised in various application scenarios.
These AI/ML development kits seamlessly integrate with the Renesas Flexible Software Package (FSP) and are supported by Reality AI Software for Real-time Analytics, as well as the Renesas Ready Partner Network for tailored use cases. The kits come equipped with application examples to assist newcomers in getting started, while the available ecosystem and AI/ML software empower users to develop customised solutions.
