iCities, Brazil’s pioneering smart cities hub, in partnership with Fira Barcelona, a global leader in organising major events, announced the next edition of the IoT Solutions Congress Brasil. This is the Brazilian version of the IoT Solutions World Congress, an annual international gathering of industry leaders, technology experts, and C-level professionals from across the globe.
The event will be held on 3-4 September in São Paulo. This year’s theme, ‘Connecting Devices, Connecting People, Connecting Worlds’, reinforces the event’s mission to explore how IoT integrates technology, connectivity and social impact on a global scale. It brings together experts to discuss the key topics shaping the future of innovation and connectivity.
Commenting on this year’s theme, Bill Furlow, the content curator for the IoT Solutions Congress Brasil, said: “The Internet of Things has grown in the last five or ten years, from discrete, high-end applications, to an integrated web of low-cost solutions. This is all part of a broader trend often referred to as the ‘democratisation of data’. Companies and individuals now have affordable, reliable access to unprecedented amounts of real-time sensor data.
“What’s the result? Greater efficiency, safety, and reliability for systems and equipment across industry, government, and the public sector. The future is now, and it will be on display at the 2025 IoT Solutions Congress Brasil.”
The two-day event will feature panel discussions, exhibitions, and networking opportunities between companies, startups and experts from Brazil and abroad. Organisers expect over 6,000 visitors, 150 speakers, more than 1,000 organisations, and upwards of 120 startups to participate.
The programme will highlight the strategic role of IoT in building a more connected and efficient future. Topics will include data-driven approaches to human wellbeing, digital transformation strategies for businesses and cities, and sessions on how connectivity can drive global innovation and progress.
More than just an event, the IoT Solutions Congress Brasil serves as a strategic platform for business development.
