devolo will be exhibiting at IFA in Berlin, from 5-9 September, to showcase how easy it is for any household to integrate state-of-the-art mesh Wi-Fi, as it expands its extensive portfolio of networking solutions with two Wi-Fi 7 mesh routers: devolo WiFi 7 BE6500 and devolo WiFi 7 BE9300 Triband.
Both routers have three operating modes, providing them with the flexibility to integrate into various network installations. They can be used as full-fledged routers, access points or mesh Wi-Fi kits. These devices round out the devolo ecosystem and, in conjunction with Powerline adapters, Wi-Fi repeaters, and mesh systems, enable customised network expansion.
Additionally, the new Wi-Fi 7 mesh routers are compatible with all other current devolo components, making them suitable also for modular expansion of home networks. Due to the devolo Home Network app or web interface, installation and management are done in no time. As a complete home networking provider from a single source, therefore, devolo offers everything necessary for Wi-Fi which is perfectly in tune.
Both new devolo router models discreetly blend into any room with their sleek design. They offer a secure connection with WPA 2 as well as WPA 3 and support state-of-the-art Wi-Fi 7 mesh functions such as Multi-Link Operation, OFDMA, Multi-User MIMO and band steering. Client devices can also be connected via four Ethernet ports (3 x 1 gigabit, 1 x 2.5 gigabit) using Ethernet cables.
Both routers support the current Wi-Fi 7 standard (802.11be). Users benefit from this by getting an even better connection for multiple devices and support for the 2.4, 5 and 6-GHz frequency bands for more speed and stability. Of course, the backward compatibility with older standards remains intact, so the new devolo routers are fast and reliable at networking all client devices.
The speeds of these routers are found in their product name: devolo WiFi 7 BE6500 enables Wi-Fi transmission speeds of up to 6500 Mbps, whereas devolo WiFi 7 BE9300 Triband has Triband technology which brings it up to 9300 Mbps.
devolo stands for customised building and expansion of home networks. In keeping with this philosophy, these routers are offered in various packages: as an individual router, as mesh kits of 2 or 3 devices and as a separate mesh expansion kit. This way customers can choose the package that fits best with their needs and the architecture of their own home network.
The market launch for devolo WiFi 7 BE6500 and devolo WiFi 7 BE9300 Triband is scheduled for the early 2026.
