Analog Devices (ADI) will be present at embedded world 2025, where visitors to the company’s booth will have the chance to explore 18 demos which highlight its broad portfolio and ability to deliver system-level solutions that allow their customers to stand out.
Among the solutions on show, ADI’s software capabilities will be demonstrated in their CodeFusion Studio platform.
Some of the highlight demos include:
- The industrial network of the future: enabling the modern digital factory and realising productivity gains through data and AI requires seamless and secure convergence of the factory’s IT and the OT networks. This platform demo shows how ADI empowers factory and process automation systems to transform generated data into insights for efficiencies at scale. Its industrial Ethernet switches enable advanced features while removing the complexity from the host processor
- Industrial mobile robot open platform: learn how to build scalable autonomous mobile robots by using open-source hardware and software robotics solutions from ADI and Arduino. Key design considerations include modularity, interoperability, and standardised software interfaces exposed through ROS2 nodes. ADI enables rapid prototyping and development of customised applications for robot designs
- Motion control solutions for autonomous manufacturing: this demonstration showcases ADI’s AI-centric condition-based monitoring solution for intelligent fault detection, designed to eliminate unplanned downtime in manufacturing processes. The demand for enhanced automation and electrification in the manufacturing industry has driven a growing need for efficient, reliable, and intelligent motor control systems
- Elevating medical IoT performance and security: this innovative demonstration combines robust cybersecurity with intelligent syringe operation to redefine safety and performance in Medical IoT. Learn how ADI’s secure authentication solutions protect devices from unauthorised access and potential threats while integrating Trinamic’s cutting-edge syringe and peristaltic pump technologies for precise, reliable, and efficient drug delivery. These advancements collectively showcase the future of safe and intelligent healthcare device
- High-performance analogue meets AI: Extracting data from high-performance, high-data-rate analogue signal chains for AI model training and real-time inference has become a key trend, driven by the shift from traditional signal processing to AI-driven flows. This demo leverages an NVIDIA-based platform to build a complete data extraction framework, built on top of open-source software, open-source FPGA infrastructure, and scalable host-side data management flows. It targets ADI’s high-performance transceivers and converters to streamline the development and deployment of AI-capable and intelligent Edge systems
- Building a trusted Edge framework: attendees can witness enhanced intelligent Edge data streams with ADI’s Data Provenance SDK. The SDK facilitates plug-and-play configuration of specialised sensor Edge data capture with customisable metadata, enabling secondary verification of data authenticity and accuracy at any point in the data lifecycl
- Delivering AI at the intelligent Edge: Rapid development of Edge-optimised AI models helps to solve important business challenges. This demo showcases how customers can develop an AI-based anomaly detection model for use in a hypothetical manufacturing production line using ADI’s forthcoming Andromeda AI development platform, Sony’s Intelligent Vision Sensors, and ADI’s high-bandwidth and low-latency GMSL solutions. ADI Andromeda is a Cloud-based development platform aimed at helping customer teams collect data, train, and optimise AI models for ADI signal chain products and digital targets
