Purple recently announced it will provide its Guest Wi-Fi solution to Minnesota United FC (MNUFC). The football club deployed Purple’s Capture Guest Wi-Fi solution at Allianz Field in time for a match with Inter Miami CF. Using Purple’s solution, MNUFC captured fata from one of its highest-attended events in venue history, enabling tailored offers and promotions.

Working together with Major League Soccer (MLS) technology provider Atomic Data, Purple’s solution went live on 10th May. This enabled MNUFC to capitalise on the game’s popularity and engage with new and returning fans via Wi-Fi opt-ins and data capture.
Early insights collected by Purple’s platform demonstrated a dramatic spike in visitor Wi-Fi usage, presenting new opportunities for future personalised ticket offers and digital promotions.
Purple’s Capture Guest Wi-Fi provides branded access to guest Wi-Fi while collecting first-party fan data. At Allianz Field, Purple’s native connector automatically feeds this data into MNUFC’s existing fan database.
Using the data and technology provided by Purple, MNUFC can create more personalized, relevant, and interactive experiences for fans, such as targeted promotions, tailored content, and seamless digital interactions that resonate better with attendees and encourage deeper connection and loyalty.
