Artificial intelligence (AI), industrial IOT, digital twins, augmented reality, 5G connectivity – these are some of the digital technologies that are changing the industrial sector at a great speed. To analyse the impact of its unstoppable deployment in companies, IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), an international benchmark event on digital transformation, will bring together more than 100 experts in this field and showcase success stories from leading companies.
Organised by Fira de Barcelona, the 2025 edition of IOTSWC, which will run from 13-15 May at the Gran Via venue, will feature a congress programme structured in three main themes: digital transformation strategy, emerging technologies and processes, and work in adverse environments.
The conferences and sessions will feature top-level speakers who will tackle issues such as the use of AI to generate economic return, the optimisation of processes as a sustainable initiative, the use of autonomous vehicles such as robots or drones to operate in environments inaccessible to humans, the energy transition or the future of Europe in the global AI race, among others. Success stories will also be presented to show how the application of disruptive technologies is contributing to a change in business models.
In addition, and with the aim of bringing the LoRaWAN protocol closer to the industrial sector, the LoRa Alliance association will organise a conference to showcase success stories, implementation options and end-user experiences of this low-power open and wireless communication technology for data transmission between IoT devices.
The IOTSWC congress will be held jointly with the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress (BCC). Organised by Fira de Barcelona, the two shows will bring together more than 250 exhibitors from all over the world in Hall 8 of the Gran Via venue.
