Aqara introduces FP2 Presence Sensor to UK market

Smart home and IoT device manufacturer, Aqara, is pleased to introduce the latest addition to its innovative lineup of smart home devices, the FP2 Presence Sensor in the UK market. Unlike motion sensors, which commonly use PIR, and require significant movement to trigger, the FP2 uses cutting-edge millimetre wave radar technology, to accurately detect the presence of people, even with slight movements. This technology ensures continuity and stability of the smart device. The Aqara FP2 Presence Sensor is available from Aqara and Smart And Secure for an RRP of £82.99 [currently discounted to £66.38] and in Ireland from Expert and Heavins for an RRP of €99.99.

It also has the function of zone positioning, which allows for the automation of different conditions in different zones, such as beds and tables. One space can now be divided into up to 30 small zones and recognise up to five targets (multi-person detection). It can also control other smart home devices through ecosystems such as Apple Home to achieve wider applications. It features functions such as human fall recognition and a built-in light sensor. Likewise, it is a great helper that can truly combine the diversity of the user’s home life and realise the automation of different personalities.
