Top 10 IoT exhibitors at CES

We’ve compiled a list of our top ten exhibitors from CES 2022. These businesses are only a few among the hundreds of innovative exhibitors that could be seen in Vegas, but we love this cutting-edge, IoT technology!

Internet of Everything

This startup provides an IoT Cloud alternative. Running a decentralised software layer, their mission is “to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world”. Tech for good is a clear priority for this company who want all of their solutions to be sustainable.

IoE recognises how wasteful computing can be, stating that the average computer wastes almost half the power that it consumes. As a result, IoE created ‘Eden’ which uses the edge to store data with reduces bandwidth and energy and still optimal efficiency. It can retrofit using existing hardware and infrastructure to take advantage of the available computing power.

Wi-Charge

This wireless power solution delivers power through the air. Wi-Charge claim to transmit more usable power than any other approach.

Using a power transmitter, which is plugged into the mains, devices can receive safe infrared beams which are converted from, and back to, electricity.

drivebuddyAI

Deploying AI assistance to drivers, drivebuddyAI offers in-cabin, contextual, real-time alerts that analyse behaviour. Drivers are cautioned before potential collisions.

Individual driver profiles are also generated which have different risk ratings. For fleet managers looking to keep tabs on their drivers, the ability for tracking and tracing is also available.

lumixUV

Particularly prevalent after two years of sanitising and hyperawareness towards germs is lumixUV. As public touchscreens become increasingly commonplace and unavoidable, this solution offers robotic disinfection technology to prevent transmission.

The POS terminal disinfection system uses high-power ultraviolet-C LEDs. They’ve also developed a standalone machine to disinfect credit cards as they’re passed through while a transaction is processed.

PurrSong

This company provides hardware and software to ensure the wellbeing of your cat. PurrSong offer smart-care solutions for anyone with a cat and an IoT device.

Hardware includes an auto-cleaning litter box and fountain which tracks how much water your cat consumes. It incorporates AI to process data and vets’ diagnoses and can alert users of abnormal health issues at early stages.

Robeau

Robeau offer a smart water solution to manage consumption and detect leaks. It uses sensors and LoRa connectivity to collect data which can trigger alerts, reducing water bills up to as much as a 50%.

This solution enables customers to understand their water bills with greater transparency, identifying areas that consume too much.

Bird Buddy

The smart bird feed that notifies you when a winged visitor in the garden. Bird Buddy takes photos and lets the user take full control of the live-streaming camera.

The software can scan and recognise its visitors with AI. It can recognise over a thousand species of birds. There are optional add-ons too, such as a detachable solar roof which can keep it powered.

Posture 360

The founder of Posture 360 suffered with chronic back pain for years and felt the effects of it in day-to-day life as it interfered with his productivity. He launched a range of products which are designed with neurosurgeons, chiropractors, physical therapists and fitness professionals.

Products include wearable devices such as ‘smart shirts’ which use sensors to monitor, alert and analyse your posture throughout the day. Its calibrated posture control gently pulls the shoulders back and has an ergonomic design which fits under clothes.

Uvera

This device creates a sterilised food storage environment which can prolong shelf-life of meat up to 33%, fruit up to 123% and vegetables up to 141%. Spoilage is the most common reason for food waste.

Ulvera’s solution not only decreases food waste but can also free up some finances within households as shelf-life extension is thought to reduce users’ shopping trips.

Sensorscall

This health tech startup can let you know, remotely, if your parents are okay whilst still ensuring their independence. Sensorscall introduces the ‘CareAlert’ app which offers medication reminders in your voice.

Using no cameras or wearables, thereby not breaching on anyone’s privacy, its smart night lights can learn your loved ones’ daily routines and alert you if something unusual occurs during the night. The sensors monitor motion, temperature, humidity, air quality and more.
