Getac to showcase rugged solutions for industry 4.0 at Hannover Messe

Getac will once again showcase its comprehensive range of rugged technologies for state-of-the-art industrial applications at this year’s Hannover Messe (HMI), a world’s leading trade fair for industry, from 17th to 21st April.

Visitors to Getac’s booth (Hall 15, Stand G41) will be able to get hands on with new rugged devices, many of which are being shown for the first time at HMI2023. These include the recently launched next-gen B360 laptop, as well as a variety of innovative tablet solutions designed specifically for Industry 4.0 applications.

‘Discover the Power of Getac’s Total Solutions for Industry 4.0’

Getac’s trade fair motto at HMI 2023 is “Discover the Power of Getac’s Total Solutions for Industry 4.0”. Not only does this encompass Getac’s own solutions, but also those of its ecosystem partners, a number of whom will also be showcased at the event, including Nimmsta, Energy Robotics, Havis, Gamber-Johnson and Infocase.

Getac’s powerful rugged computing solutions are purpose built for demanding applications in different industries. The brand new, next generation B360 fully rugged laptop is ideally suited to critical tasks such as asset management and predictive maintenance, while versatile tablet solutions like the ZX10 and F110 are applicable tool for tasks in production, maintenance and intralogistics.

In addition to its rugged hardware solutions, Getac will also be showcasing its range of specialist software solutions, such as Driving Safety Utility, and other peripherals/accessories that customers can purchase via Getac Select, in order to solve unique industry challenges. Getac experts will also be on hand throughout the event to answer any questions visitors may have about the technologies and applications on display.

Meet ‘Spot’ the autonomous robot dog at Getac’s booth

Visitors to Getac’s booth this year are also invited to meet ‘Spot’, a four-legged mobile robot that can autonomously carry out dangerous tasks such as plant monitoring in hazardous areas, with the help of an end-to-end software platform from Energy Robotics. Spot, who is equipped with a wide range of cameras and sensors, can read measured values, collect data, and transmit everything directly back to an operator in real-time, greatly improving worker safety throughout dangerous facilities.
